Felix Kroll, born 1986 in Berlin, Germany, is studying tertiary music at the University of the Arts in Bremen. In his academic career he studied accordion with Margit Kern, Gerhard Scherer and Mikko Luoma (Turku - Finland). He has received the first prize at the competition »Jugend Musiziert« and is currently holding a scholarship of the »Oscar and Vera Ritter« Foundation.
In his artistic work he focuses upon contemporary music. Early in his performing career, Felix premiered first performances of contemporary music composers such as Friedrich Goldmann, Georg Katzer, Sidney Corbett, Friedhelm Döhl and Younghi Pag-Paan. He is especially interested in the interaction between the work of the composer and the presence he is living in.
Felix Kroll is working in different kinds of chamber music and collaborative theatre and performance projects.
